Bright sunshine and clear blue skies put a smile on people's face in Gloucestershire as they woke up this morning.
Weather experts at the Met Office predict temperatures of up to 13 C today with little wind and "very good" visibility.
The summery conditions are set to remain tomorrow morning before it clouds over as the day goes on. Tomorrow there is a possibility of thunder storms in the late afternoon and evening.
Glosmedia weather expert Ian Thomas spent this morning sitting outside in the garden enjoying a cup of coffee in the sun.
"It's a lovely start to the weekend," he said. "These are more like the kind of temperatures you would hope for at this time of year.
"If you are in a nice sun trap, away from the wind, it will be warm enough to wear a T-shirt. I might even get the shorts out this afternoon if I mow the lawn."
However, he sounded a note of caution.
"I don't think we've quite reached summer yet," he added. "Tomorrow morning we might still get a ground frost in some areas and we'll get some rain later on in the day.
"However, towards the end of next week we might be in for some temperatures of up to 18 C which is good news."
