THE Stroud Festival of Nature has held its Spring Green Conference at the Museum in the Park.
The day, organised by Stroud Community Land Trust and Stroud Nature, aimed to develop networks among Stroud people who care for green spaces and the countryside.
It is intended that this will be one of a series of events, the next being focused around September's Festival of Nature and launch of the Walking Festival.
Around 40 delegates attended the conference, including representatives of the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The National Trust, Stroud District Council and Cotswold Canals Trust. It focused on the conservation of urban green spaces, the green belt and our countryside and there were talks throughout the day.
