TEENAGE chef Tristan Blick proved he could keep his cool in the kitchen as he made it through to the final of the TV national cookery competition Food Glorious Food.
The Stroud 20-year-old is part of the Star Bistro team at the National Star College who won their regional heat on ITV series.
Now they will compete for the £20,000 top prize. They wowed some tough judges – 150 WI ladies – who chose the Star Pimm's summer jelly.
The judges said it was gorgeous, full of flavour and refreshing.
Tristan, pictured, and his three teammates had four hours to prepare 150 jellies in a commercial kitchen.
For third year City and Guilds student Tristan it meant creating 150 perfect wafer-thin star-shaped tuile biscuits to go with the jelly which is served with a zingy orange sauce. The final will be aired on April 24 at 8pm.
