POLICE investigating an assault in Cheltenham have released CCTV images of a man wearing what's thought to be an 'Angry Birds' jumper who may be able to help with their enquiries.
The assault happened at Rooster's takeaway in the Strand area of the High Street in the early hours of Monday February 26.
The 22-year-old victim was in the takeaway at around 3.10am when he was assaulted by two men, causing scratches and bruising to his face and chest.
Officers would like to speak to a man seen on CCTV in the area around the time of the assaults.
He is white with dark hair and appears to be wearing a navy blue jumper featuring an image from the popular mobile phone gaming app.
Anyone who recognises this man is asked to call Gloucestershire Police by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 26 of February 26.

As part of the investigation a 19-year-old man from Cheltenham was arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of a class B drug.
He is currently on police bail until May 1 while the investigation continues.
