Gloucestershire singing duo Katie Smith and Harry Jones have made it through to the next round of hit BBC talent show The Voice.
Katie, from King's Stanley, and Harry, from Tetbury, both 19, performed on tonight's show in front of coaches Danny O'Donoghue, Tom Jones, Jessie J and will.i.am.
After their performance of Paolo Nutini's Candy, accompanied by Harry's guitar, Danny O'Donoghue, singer in The Script, chose the pair, who are boyfriend and girlfriend, to join his team and go through to the next round.
During the show, the four coaches sit with their backs to the performers and judge them solely on their voices. They can choose to turn their chair if they want the act to join their team as they go head-to-head in the finals of the show.
Katie previously got through to the boot camp stage of ITV's X Factor, during which she is believed to have briefly dated Harry Styles, who is now a global star with his band One Direction.
Danny was the only coach to turn his chair and choose Katie and Harry, who go by the stage name Smith and Jones, after a tense wait right to the very end of their song.
After choosing them, he said: "You have perfect harmonies. You sound like you've been playing all your lives together. I think we're going to work really, really well together."
The pair were shown nervously waiting before their audition, when Katie said: "When we sing together there's a connection and a bond and I think it makes us stronger as a couple.
"He has written really lovely songs about me and it makes me feel very special."
Harry said there was extra pressure because the couple are dating, adding: "No one wants to let down the person they love."
They said they had been together for 18 months and that they met while singing as soloists at a charity event.
Despite not turning their chairs, all the coaches praised Katie and Harry's performance.
Singer Jessie J said: "You're amazing at 19. Your harmonies are lovely. Congratulations on being here and being in love and together."
Performer and producer will.i.am told the pair not to break up, before saying: "You guys are really cool. You guys are really special."
