ONE person had to be rescued by firefighters after a car crash in Barnett Way, Barnwood.
Police closed the road while the trapped person, who was female, was released from a vehicle by the fire crews. She was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The firefighters were called to the scene by the ambulance service at 4.19pm today and spent 30 minutes at the scene.
