The BBC's gritty new historical drama series, The Village, attracted several million viewers on Sunday night.
But in it was a glaring historical howler. A rousing rendition of Jerusalem, composed by former Highnam Court resident Sir Hubert Parry, who learnt to play the organ at the village's church, was performed by a brass band in the episode, set in 1914.
However, Jerusalem wasn't written until 1916.
