BUSINESSES can get tips on fire safety from the experts at free seminars.
Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service is holding the advice sessions following a number of blazes at commercial premises in the county recently.
Two seminars take place at Gloucester Guildhall on Wednesday next week, with the first at 3.30pm and the second at 5.30pm, and people can just turn up on the day.
Chief fire officer Jon Hall said: "The seminar is aimed at helping the business community, including landlords, understand how fire safety affects them, and giving them guidance on practical measures and advice on what the law requires of them.
"While part of our role is to enforce fire safety law, we would much rather help achieve safe commercial premises through education and by helping business people find the solutions they need."
