A MAN had his shopping bag stolen when he was mugged in Kingsholm on Thursday night, March 28.
The 61-year-old was shoved to the floor as he walked along Alvin Street between 11.20pm and 11.35pm.
His attacker is described as white with grey hair, in his 50s, around 5 foot 7 inches tall and stockily built.
He was wearing black clothes at the time of the attack
The man rifled through the victim's pockets, but failed to find his wallet, before making off with his shopping bag carrying cigarettes and alcohol.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident 455 of March 28.
