More than 60 runners young and old braved the winter chill in Bushley to take on the challenge of the Green Streets Mile.
Now in its fourth year, the race jointly staged by Bushley villagers and Tewkesbury Athletic Club on Easter Monday raised £246 to Linc (Leukaemia and Intensive Care Fund) to support the charity's work in Gloucestershire.
Bushley Village Hall also benefitted from the sale of teas and refreshments and the Cricket Club from the takings behind the bar.
In the main race first to cross the finish line in a time of 4.57 was Anthony Bailey of Cheltenham Harriers.
First female to finish in 5.42 was Samantha Harris of Chepstow Harriers. The first two runners back for the home team Tewkesbury AC were Neil Miles and 5.48 and Caroline Thomas in 6.16. Carol Cowley finished the Tewkesbury AC charge in 6.52.
The fun run was won by Chris Tillott in 5:36 and mum Liz Tillott took the title in the women's race in a time of 7.21. Everyone who finished celebrated with a chocolate egg.
