A STRING of celebrities have basked in sunshine at Gloucester Quays.
TV gardeners Charlie Dimmock, Tommy Walsh and Rachel De Thame all descended on the city this weekend for the second Gloucester Quays Home and Garden Party.
They were joined by flamboyant interior designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
Gardening goddess Charlie, 46, and handyman Tommy, who both starred in Ground Force, talked to crowds on Saturday.
Then Laurence, 48, of Changing Rooms fame, and former Gardener's World presenter, model and dancer Rachel De Thame, 52, met home and garden lovers on Sunday.
Rachel, who last year decorated the Queen's Diamond Jubilee barge, said she would be taking time out to visit the sights of Gloucester.
And Laurence said visiting the city was 'the best possible way of celebrating the Easter weekend'.
Visitors also enjoyed some 80 market stalls selling local produce as well as live music.
Wire sculptor Helene Barrott, from Cheltenham, was one of the traders. She said: "I've had a lot of people taking interest in my work."
Today's talks feature gardening queen Carol Klein and property guru Martin Roberts.
