A GREATER police presence is needed at meetings of parish councillors in Hardwicke.
That's the view of councillors who say they want the police to speak about what they are doing in the village at their monthly meetings. The council always has an agenda item allowing a police representative to speak.
But parish clerk Kevin Lee said: "Members express concern about the lack of input from police and requested that the divisional commander be asked to explain the lack of police visibility at meetings."
They are writing to the police for an explanation.
