TEN veterans and their supporters will take on an "honour walk" around the battlefields of the First World War.
The members of the Hardwicke Royal British legion will be heading to Ypres, in France, for a three-day trip in May.
They hope the event will raise £1,000 for the annual Poppy Appeal.
Organisers are on the lookout for a major sponsor to back their trek.
Branch secretary Carol Bratty said they also needed help in carrying out research on local fallen heroes.
She said: "We are trying to research the fallen on the war memorials of the First World War around our district of Hardwicke, Elmore, Longney, Haresfield and Quedgeley."
Any family members of those on the memorials are being encouraged to get in touch with the group before they make a display as part of their commemorations.
