A budding estate agent has sold ten houses in six months as he looks to carve out a new career in the county.
Daniel Roberts, 19, has been working as an apprentice at Michael Tuck Estate Agents in Gloucester.
Daniel, of Tuffley, was previously working in a factory after dropping out of school.
He decided to pursue a career in sales after being put in touch with Gloucester-based training provider Prospect Training Services.
Daniel said: "I was put in touch with Prospect Training Services who were brilliant.
"They took the time to sit down with me to discuss what I wanted to do, helped me work on my CV and introduced the idea of apprenticeships to me.
"I wanted to continue learning but knew I needed to start earning money so it seemed like a perfect fit."
Daniel has been given a mentor at Michael Tucks who provides progress reports every three weeks.
Offering advice to other young people thinking about doing an apprenticeship, Daniel said:
"Find something you're really passionate about and don't give up on it. I've always known I was a people person, so sales was the perfect fit for me.
"There are people and companies out there who can help, so don't be afraid to ask for it."
Michael Tuck has four offices in Gloucester and one in Cheltenham and was established in 1983.
