HARD working teenagers at St Peter's High School in Gloucester have had their talents rewarded by landing places at Oxford.
Two sixth formers, Bernadette Johns and Iona Hughes, both 18, will be off to study among the dreaming spires later this year.
Bernadette has won a music scholarship to hone her choral singing and Iona, subject to grades, will tackle a business management degree.
Head of sixth form Andy Barbard said: "We are extremely proud of them both.
"Not only are they academically and musically talented, but they also offer a lot more to the school as well. They are involved in our charitable work and serving the school in wider ways.
"Both of them work tremendously hard."
Bernadette's interest in singing stems from her part in the school choir.
Iona made a big impression at a London law firm on a work placement recently and needs three As to secure her place at Brasenose College, which teachers are confident won't be a problem.
