Fan's view of Cheltenham Town's 3-0 win over Rotherham United with Laurie Cleevely:
It was a positive response to a lack-lustre performance at Burton the week before and signs of the team we were last season peeked through the cracks of current crop.
As soon as Sammy Deering broke through before a minute reached the clock one would forgive a Robin for thinking it was there day.
Rotherham came in their numbers and deserved a better performance for a large following, one of the best to greet the Hazelwood Stand this term.
With Jason Taylor out of the team as big-boy Evans requested, the team seemed to get the ball down a little with the full backs getting more of the ball in attacking positions and the wingers constantly running in behind, leaving Marlon and Russ to pull the strings in the middle and with space to manoeuvre, they didn't disappoint
It was a case of 'a matter of time' when Mohamed crossed for McGlashan as we dominated large periods of the game. It was a cracker for Jermaine and he marked his return to the team in style. He must be influential if we are to finish strong.
The second was another good move, with Mohammed getting the ball out wide. It's good he has a diversity In what he does with the ball. On this occasion he came in the put it on a plate for Marlon, who did what we all know is well inside his capabilities.
The back four was assured and were under no real pressure as Scotty was ready when he was occasionally called on. Hector continues to improve with each game. Elliot was rewarded for another strong performance, and it's important that you get goals from all over the pitch.
I still think we lack a little up front. Benson doesn't get enough ball, as much as Deering is there to support him, it doesn't tend to give Benson much more ball and rarely creates him chances.
Russ and Marlon battled well, spreading the ball well and the change in the team, dropping Taylor seemed to do them some favours in there. I, personally, think it should be kept that way, Taylor available or not.
The game was a real crowd pleaser and especially funny to see the players respond to the chant of 'what's the score?' as the fans rotated the name aimed at.
On to Barnet let's make it 4 from 5. Come on you Robins!

Scott Brown - 9 - Can't fault him
Sido Jombati - 8 - Great to see him back, the old Sido too. Demolished the left winger.
Steve Elliot - 8 - Solid at the back once more. Took his goal well.
Michael Hector - 8 - Assured and confident, struggled with the threat of Odejayi when the time came.
Billy Jones - 7 - Quiet performance. Solid if not spectacular.
Jermaine McGlashan - 8 - Great to see him back in the team. Needs to be consistently good if we are to mount a serious challenge.
Russ Penn - 8 - Anther battling performance from 'warhorse' as he continues to lead the team in style.
Marlon Pack - 8 - Certainly hit form of late and thankfully continued to be committed to the team although highly linked with a move away.
Sam Deering - 8 - Found a good role for Sammy, he snapped up his chance in the team and one of our most dangerous players of late.
Kaid Mohamed - 8 - A good rating purely for his roles in the game. Not massively featured apart from that.
Paul Benson - 7 - Difficult afternoon against physical defenders but never gives up. Think Harrison deserves a chance.
