A new social networking website has launched in Gloucestershire for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. Lifestyle Mix has been created to offer a safe and fun online community in the county for people to meet, chat and share. It is the brainchild of Gloucestershire man Paul Stephens and is designed to be a one stop shop for the LGBT community in which they can interact, date and find out what is going on in the county. A spokesperson for the site said: "Gloucestershire is quite a rural county and it is sometimes difficult to find out what is going on. It is not like London where everything is very central. "We wanted to create an umbrella social networking site which encompasses all the information people wil need." On the site users can create a social profile which which to interact with other members and an adult profile which enables the user to share more 'risque' content with other members of the LGBT community. The website has been built with lots of options for people - including allowing your profile to be seen by everyone else on the network or only by a few. It is open to those members of the LGBT community who are 'out' and those who are not. The adult section is clearly marked - the entire screen turns red so people know they are entering a section of the site with adult content. Comments are moderated 24 hours a day, seven days a week and it is currently free to join. To launch the new site there is a special event at The Westgate pub in Gloucester on Saturday night (March 16). To find out more visit lsmix.com
