Elmbridge Junior School have won the regional final of football's Danone Nations Cup.
This takes the Gloucester school one step closer towards playing for England in the Danone Nations Cup World Final in September
Ten school teams of Under-11 boys battled it out at Fry's club Keynsham, Bristol, to become the South West regional winners.
Elmbridge Junior School will now go on to represent their region in the ESFA Danone Nations Cup Finals, which will take place in London in May.
From kick-off, spectators were on edge as they witnessed great action throughout the afternoon from all the school teams involved, in an exciting day of Under-11 girls' football.
The final proved to be a tight contest with two evenly matched sides but Elmbridge won the final clash 2-0 against Broadstone Middle School
As one of the winning squads from the regional finals Elmbridge Junior School will now take part in the ESFA Danone Nations Cup Finals in May with the hopes of becoming one of the five final squads competing for the coveted Team England title in the Danone Nations Cup England Final in June.
Now in its 14th year, this is the first time that the Danone Nations Cup world final will be hosted in London.
At the world finals, Team England will also experience a once in a lifetime opportunity to show off their footie skills in front of FIFA World Cup champion and Danone Nations Cup ambassador Zinédine Zidane.
