A slightly scrappy win but we'll take what we can get at the moment.
Two well taken goals were the difference although the result could have been different had Jack Midson tucked away his seemingly easy chance.
We seem to be in a knack of not finishing off games when the chance is there. We had two 'two on one' situations today where the final pass was poor and allowed Wimbledon to clear their lines.
This was a game that we needed to win. We won so I won't complain at all, but we need now to go on a run and win four or five games in a row.
I still think third place is very much up for grabs despite the fact we've played one more game than most teams around us.
Mark Yates' team selection was spot on today, the five man midfield is doing us wonders even if it limits chances for our hit and miss strikers.
No goal for Paul Benson today but I can't remember him actually having a shot. We have four very capable strikers but at the moment I wouldn't drop any of the midfield to make way for Byron Harrison, Darryl Duffy (whose chances are going to be very limited from now until May) and Shaun Harrad.
Our next three or four games will decide what will happen in May. Will it be; play-offs? Automatic promotion? Or are we definitely destined for another season in League Two? All mentioned are definite possibilities and as the season is quickly drawing to an end, I hope Cheltenham are involved in the first two and not the latter!

OUT OF TEN
Scott Brown: 6 Didn't have a save to make and was helpless for the goal
Keith Lowe: 6 Coped well with the Wimbledon wide men and his long throws caused mischief.
Michael Hector: 7 Defended excellently, looked solid in the air and very rarely got beaten
Steve Elliott: 8 My man of the match, scored a nice header and put his body on the line constantly.
Billy Jones: 6 Got beaten a lot but his delivery proved crucial once again. Lovely cross for Elliott's goal.
Russ Penn: 6 Slightly off the boil today but possibly should have won a penalty in the first half.
Marlon Pack: 7 Another reason why we'll miss him, kept the side ticking over today and executed some fantastic passes.
Jason Taylor: 7 Had a very sound game, won some crucial headers and broke up play well.
Sam Deering: 8 I'm glad he's getting his chance, buzzed around the pitch and created space and opportunities.
Darren Carter: 6 Took his goal very well but otherwise an average performance.
Paul Benson: 6 Not much service but held the ball up well.
Kaid Mohamed: 6 Didn't do much but his presence often creates a spark which is needed.
Jermaine McGlashan: N/A
Byron Harrison: 6 Not really on long enough but offers more pace than Benson
