RESIDENTS in Bishop's Cleeve are coming together this month to raise money for charity.
St Michael's Hall in the village will play host to a cake sale on March 16.
The day of festivities, titled Cleeve Community Cake Sale for Comic Relief, aims to raise money for Red Nose Day 2013.
The day's events, which will start at 2pm, includes a victoria sponge cake competition, and cake raffle and auction. Children will also be asked to decorate cakes and biscuits.
Members of Bishop's Cleeve Primary Academy school choir will be performing.
Organiser Vicky Stipling said: "The event aims to encourage the local community to come together and do something funny for money either through homebaking & contributing towards the sale or coming along and donating money buying wonderful goodies, raffle tickets or taking part in a promise auction."
Entrance charge is 50p for adults with a tea or coffee and 20p for children with a cold drink.
