A coffee morning at Churchdown Methodist Hall tomorrow will help raise money for the Headway charity supporting brain injury sufferers from 10.30am.
Club members are hosting a raffle, cake sale and book stall.
They are hoping the event in Chapel Hay Lane will raise a tidy sum to help support those needing specialist care in Gloucester.
The charity has strong roots in the city with the first Headway House opening in Gloucester in 1983.
It provided a day centre to assist in long-term rehabilitation, respite care and hospital liaison.
The project was so successful that other Headway Houses were soon started in Basingstoke, Colchester, Reading and Bristol, with more to follow.
To find out more call chairman Joyce Auld on 01452 712 477.
