FOREST of Dean duo Newent and Drybrook are now just one win away from running out on the hallowed turf of Twickeham.
The Gloucestershire pair stormed into the semi-finals of their respective Vase competitions following impressive away victories.
Gloucester One leaders Newent brushed aside Chesham 50-0 in the quarter final of the RFU Junior Vase to book a place in the last four.
While Gloucester Premier's second placed men Drybrook won 39-7 at Marlborough in the Senior Vase following a short trip down the road to Wiltshire.
The fact that both wins came on the road will put them in good stead for the semi-finals which will take place on March 30.
Newent will now make the long journey to Norfolk to face Wymondham, who easily beat Beccehamian 50-10.
While Drybrook will not have to travel as far as they will go to Cantabrigians in Cambridge who narrowly edged out Beccles 13-12.
