MUM-OF-11 Heather Frost says she might not move into her 'mansion' after a public outcry.
The jobless Churchdown mum is having a six-bedroom eco-home built for her in Tewkesbury using taxpayer funds.
The home, valued at £400,000, has sparked outrage worldwide after The Citizen revealed the news.
Yesterday, Heather said she would be 'lying low' after thousands of people criticised her.
But just hours later she appeared on national TV on ITV's Daybreak to reveal she is in two minds about taking the house after all.
She said: "I am 50/50 as to whether I am going to take it. Everyone knows where it is and I don't want my kids to be picked on."
Her daughter Angel, 16, also appeared on the breakfast show to reveal it is her who pays the £200-a-month bill for the horse that they own – and said that her mum doesn't use a penny of her benefits.
Heather is scheduled to move into her house in July after Severn Vale Housing have finished building it.
They bought the land for £210,000 from Tewkesbury Borough Council who agreed to help Heather make the move in 2007.
But the house has been specially designed so that it can be split into two three-bedroom houses if Heather decides she doesn't want to live there.
Verna Green, director of community at the council, said: "It is Mrs Frost's decision as to whether to apply for the property, however it is a decision that must be taken very seriously because social housing properties that can accommodate large families are extremely rare.
"We will meet with Mrs Frost in the near future to ensure she is fully aware of her options."
