Five young Gloucestershire rugby players have been selected for an England Under-16 training camp at Hartpury College next week.
The five chosen for the England training squad are: Clayton Dee (Churchdown School, Coney Hill RFC and Gloucestershire), Kieran Kelly (Prior Park College, Cirencester RFC), Morgan Bottrill (Tewkesbury School, Coney Hill RFC and Gloucestershire), Harry Wilson (Kingshill School, Cirencester RFC and Gloucestershire) and Joe Moore (Pate's Grammar School, Cheltenham RFC and Gloucestershire)
They impressed the England selectors at last weekend's Divisional Festival at Broadstreet RFC, near Coventry, which saw the South West launch a stirring fightback to beat the North 43-26 in the opening match.
The Hartpury training camp forms the next step in the selection process for the forthcoming programme of international matches which will see England Under-16s play Italy Under 17s at Lichfield on April 1 and Wales Under-16s at Oxford University on April 6.
In total, 21 players from the South West have got through to the 72-strong squad that will be at Hartpury from next Tuesday to Thursday.
