People who want to sign a petition to press for a change in the law on disqualified drivers can simply do a Google search for an epetition.
Mandy Stock, whose husband Paul died after disqualified driver Graham Godwin's motorcycle hit him, has set up two epetitions.
They call for an increase in sentencing guidelines for causing death while disqualified or uninsured, and to introduce a new charge for causing serious injury while disqualified or uninsured.
The epetitions website can be found by searching Google for that word, then entering the words "Amanda Stock" on the epetition website. Both petitions should be signed individually.
Mr Stock, known as "Gloucester's best welder" died after Godwin's bike hit him in March last year.
Godwin, of Winnycroft Lane, Matson, who was banned and uninsured, was jailed for just 18 months – no more than a driver who has a licence.
He was already disqualified from driving, as well as speeding and carrying a passenger on his one-seat motorcycle and pleaded guilty to causing death while driving when disqualified, causing death while not being insured and using a false name to obtain insurance but he also had 12 previous convictions of driving without insurance, nine for driving while disqualified and three for drink driving.
Judge Jamie Tabor QC called him "an absolute menace on the roads" but the maximum sentence he could impose was two years, with six months off for pleading guilty. Judge Tabor added six months to Godwin's jail term after he admitted production of cannabis.
Gloucester MP Richard Graham raised Mrs Stock's concerns at Prime Minister's Question Time last week.
