Gloucester potter Michael Wasley is flying out to the German Masters today, to take part in the first world ranking event of 2013.
Wasley, 22, qualified last December with victories over Churchdown's Jack Lisowski and former world and UK champion Peter Ebdon.
He will play Neil Robertson, who beat Daniel Wells 5-0 this afternoon, at 10am tomorrow morning.
Also joining Wasley at the Tempodrom venue in Berlin is fellow Gloucester snooker player Rob Milkins.
Milkins is in action at 3pm tomorrow and will play Shaun Murphy, who beat Ben Woollaston 5-1 this morning.
The German Masters runs until Sunday.
