RUBBISH collections in Cheltenham continue to be suspended amid fears over frozen side roads.
Conditions on pavements and small streets mean it is too dangerous for any waste or recycling routes to be taken on today.
Meanwhile the borough council says it is trying to keep other services going, including the Swindon Road recycling centre which remains open as normal.
Also, the skip vehicle will be emptying recycling banks in car parks it can safely gain access to.
The council says street cleaners are continuing to salt car parks and town centre pavements, as well as emptying litter bins.
The authority is hoping the full collection service will resume 'soon' although this is entirely reliant on road conditions improving.
