Snow may be an occasional blip in the weather for most people in the UK, but for some birds in a Cotswold park, it was a taste of home. Penguins at Birdland, in Bourton-on-the-Water, were in their element as the centre celebrated Penguin Awareness Day yesterday. Heading up the feathered creatures was Spike the king penguin, who was hand-reared by head keeper Alistair Keen.
