SAFETY advice has been given out by the fire service after a series of chimney fires in the cold weather.
There were four chimney fires in the county on Thursday, in Daglingworth, Brockweir, Cheltenham and Newent.
On Friday, there were similar incidents in Cranham, Chalford and Minsterworth.
And yesterday, crews were called to two incidents in Tetbury and Moreton-in-Marsh.
A significant number of chimney fires are dealt with each year in the county due to the increased popularity of solid fuel heating.
