Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra to visit Cheltenham

ONE of Britain's major orchestra will be in town as part of the concert series this year.
The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra will play at Cheltenham Town Hall on Friday, April 12.
The orchestra is visiting as part of the Town Hall's concert series, which includes bands from across the country visiting Cheltenham.
The band will start their performance at 7.30pm, with the overture from Rosamunde, one of Schubert's best-loved pieces.
There will be a piano performance from Paul Lewis, who will play Brahms's Piano Concert No.1 in D minor, Op.15.
Conducting the orchestra from Poole for the evening will be Ukrainian conductor Kirill Karabits.
He is the first Ukrainian conductor of a UK orchestra, and has been with the orchestra for the last five years.
