Forecourt fighters wanted by police

Police in Gloucester are appealing to trace a victim and suspect in connection with an assault at a petrol station in the city in the early hours of New Year's Eve.

The incident happened at Symonds Service Station in London Road between 1am and 1.20am on Monday December 31. A fight took place on the forecourt and it is believed there were two male offenders and one male victim.

The victim, or anyone with information about the offenders, is urged to call 101 quoting incident 16 of December 31.

Alternatively information can also be given anonymously on 0800 555 111, or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org. In some cases Crimestoppers offer rewards of up to £1000 where information leads to a conviction.

Ashley Nicholls-Perry, 20 and of no fixed abode, has been charged with assault by beating in connection with the incident and has been remanded in custody.
