EMERGENCY services had a busy New Year's Eve in Gloucestershire as high-spirited revellers generated hundreds of incidents.
Police said there were 36 arrests across the county between 8pm on New Year's Eve and 6am on New Year's Day.
Inspector Andy Morford added much of the trouble was alcohol-related, with 21 of the arrests being for assaults or public order offences.
The majority of the rest were for criminal damage.
