BOYBAND star Nathan Sykes has put a new twist on the songs that have made him an idol.
A video is proving a hit online in which The Wanted singer, from Abbeydale, Gloucester, reads lyrics in a thick west country accent.
The interviewer, who calls him "Gloucester's finest export", asks him to exaggerate his accent in the clip by sugarscape.com, to the delight of fans on Twitter.
"It's poetry time," Nathan tells the camera, before reading out lyrics to Chasing The Sun in a strong accent.
"I'm never, I'm never down Live forever, forever With you around."
"It's quite good with all the 'r's' in it," he laughs.
