Cheltenham Town Football Club's match at Whaddon Road has been cancelled today because of a waterlogged pitch.
The Robins were scheduled to play Bristol Rovers at home this afternoon but won't be because of the heavy rains.
A match official made the decision this morning.
A spokesman for the club said: "Cheltenham Town groundsman Terry Roberts had been working extremely hard to get the game on but the weather has made it impossible."
Supporters who have already purchased tickets for this match will be able to use them for the re-arranged date which will be announced when confirmed between both clubs.
Refunds will be available after Tuesday, January 8.
The spokesman thanked both sets of supporters for their patience and understanding.
Cheltenham Racecourse will be examining its grounds tomorrow at 10am to see if the New Year Day's races can go ahead as planned.
