VISITORS to the Asda in Cheltenham would have got a surprise as they did their last-minute shopping.
Staff members Jill Garland and Syrita Clark were dressed as presents last Saturday, as they raised money for six different charities.
Asda is sponsoring ITV's Text Santa campaign, which is supporting Age UK, Anthony Nolan, Carers UK, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Together for Short Lives, and Whizz-Kidz.
Jill, community life champions at the store, said: "It was a great day and went down very with our customers.
"The children loved it. We wanted to do something to help raise some funds for the charities.
"It was a fantastic day, and we all had a good laugh."
The store held a raffle, with the top prize being a food hamper with items for a Christmas dinner.
They raised more than £250 from the raffle and more than £900 throughout December.
