Fire fighters were called to a chimney fire in Cheltenham early this morning.
A chimney fire at Lawrence Close was reported to the Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service at 12.05am today.
Five fire fighters, and watch commander Haggar, from Cheltenham East station dealt with the fire before carrying out a home fire safety check.
They also installed smoke alarms in the house.
