Hundreds of people packed into Gloucester Cathedral yesterday for a Christmas carol concert, and more are expected today.
The city landmark was full to the brim with festive revellers who were in strong voice.
The cathedral choir led the singing with those in attendance joining in the festivities.
Today is the traditional service of readings and carols. The service is processional and the movement around the Cathedral symbolizes the journey to Bethlehem.
The movement also enables the congregation to be near at least some of the singing.
