CUTE Coby Ludlow fought off serious competition to be named this year's Baby of the Year.
The Brockworth toddler is walking tall after the annual contest, run by The Citizen.
His mum Jenina, 32, said her 16 month-old boy won thanks to his cheeky nature.
"He is just lush," she said. "Of course, I'm not biased at all.
"Everyone says he's got bags of personality, he's always smiling and is a little bit cheeky.
"We're really pleased, I'm so proud that he's won."
Coby is Jenina and husband Mykel's youngest child of five.
Their oldest is 13 and this is not the first time they've done well in the competition.
Coby's sister Amethyst, now six, was also a finalist in a previous Baby of the Year contest and Coby has taken things one stage further by winning outright.
Jenina said the £1,000 prize for his win will go in a trust fund for him.
There were four age categories in the competition, as well as the overall winner's prize: up to nine months; 10 to 18 months; 19 to 36 months and three to nine years.
Families queued up at The Eastgate shopping centre to have photos of their bundles of joy taken before winners were picked.
