MAKE a difference in 2013 - sign up to support Lansdown Hall and Gallery, Stroud's own community hall.
The hall was saved from closure by Stroud Town Council and is run by a charitable trust.
"We are completely dependent on our volunteers to keep the hall up and running. They play a huge role in making the community venue a success," said Jeremy Collingwood, chairman of the hall trustees.
Now the charity is looking for two new trustees to join its board.
"This isn't about meetings. We know what we want to achieve so we are very hands on," said Jeremy.
The charity is looking for trustees with particular skills or knowledge in marketing, event management and customer care.
"It's rewarding. You will be actively contributing to the artistic and cultural life of Stroud," said Jeremy.
The charity is also looking for volunteers who will help with a variety of activities from being duty manager to marketing to customer care.People must be willing to give 2-3 hours a week to the project and would be suitable for people who are looking to get back into work.
