A SCOOTER driver is fighting for his life in hospital after a collision with a car in Hester's Way yesterday afternoon.
The 62-year-old man from Cheltenham was rushed to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol following the crash at the junction of Princess Elizabeth Way and Grevil Road at 1.10pm.
He was riding a black Piaggio scooter when he collided with a blue Citroen Saxo, suffering life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Citroen, a 24-year-old man from Cheltenham, was not injured.
Witnesses to the collision that have not yet spoken to officers are asked to call Gloucestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 188 of December 18.
