CHRISTMAS presents were targeted by thieves in two Gloucestershire towns at the weekend.
Four burglaries were reported in Northleach, three in Nostle Road and one in Fortey Road.
The crimes in Northleach all happened overnight between Friday and Saturday.
Entry was forced to each of the homes and at three of the addresses items were stolen, including wrapped Christmas presents and jewellery.
Gloucestershire police are investigating whether the burglaries are linked to three incidents in Tewkesbury.
Between 6.30pm and 10.40pm on Saturday, two homes in Fitzhamon Park, Ashchurch were broken into and an attempt was made to force entry to another. Nothing was reported as having been stolen.
Police are appealing to both communities to call them on 101, quoting incident number 395 of December 14, if they saw or heard any suspicious activity in the neighbourhoods.
