SHARP suits and designer coats are the latest fashionable addition to Gloucester Quays with the opening of Paul Costelloe outlet centre.
Irishman Mr Costelloe attended the new shop's opening on Saturday and was on hand to greet shoppers and pass on his style tips.
He hopes his fashion outlet can make its mark in a city oozing with potential.
"Gloucester is a great location and the Quays is a wonderful centre," he said.
"There is so much history here in Gloucester and it is a great opportunity for us.
"The city needs work and I believe that is happening, so it has an exciting future.
"Paul Costelloe offers integrity and quality materials. I come from a textile background and I try to bring a young, modern design without being scary.
"I have six sons of my own so I have a good idea of what men want to wear and what looks good."
Mr Costelloe is using his years of experience to bring a new shopping experience for men's fashion to Gloucester Quays.
His outlet centre offers a huge range of men's suits and coats, with the promise of reduced rates and special offers on end of line products.
"It is important as a brand we don't get complacent and we make every effort to keep progressing," he added.
"You have to keep improving, that is the challenge - but it is an exciting business and this is an area that can grow and grow.
"The feel good factor in yourself is very important, and Paul Costelloe suits and coats can help do that by improving a man's self-esteem."
Scott Taylor is store manager, and has moved from a similar role selling Paul Costelloe suits at House of Fraser in Cheltenham.
"I have been in the industry for eight years, the Paul Costelloe stock is a good price point.
"This is only one of two Paul Costelloe outlet stores so I'm sure it will do well.
"I've been really impressed with the Quays, and we are offering some great value. The quality of the product here is exactly the same as in other shops, but cheaper."
The shop's in-house tailor can make specialist adjustments for a small charge.
