Two gardens centres have been raided for their Christmas trees.
Police are investigating after trees were stolen from the two centres in the county overnight between Tuesday, December 11 and Wednesday, December 12.
Thirty Fraser fir trees, which range in height from 130cm to 225cm, have been stolen from a garden centre on the Tewkesbury Road at Down Hatherley.
Trees were also stolen from a field at the rear of a garden centre in Highleadon in Newent. Approximately 20 trees are thought to have been taken.
Police are investigating whether the two incidents are connected.
Investigating officers are eager to hear from anyone that saw any suspicious activity around either garden centre.
Information about the thefts can be given to Gloucestershire Police by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 89 of December 12.
