Gloucester city MP Richard Graham's well known cherry and white bike has been stolen.
The bike – painted by his wife Anthea as a Christmas present three years ago – has disappeared.
Mr Graham said he locked it to a bike rack on Eastgate Street when raising funds for charity there on Saturday.
He said: "I then went to Eastgate Market, bought a Christmas present and walked out the other side to go home, forgetting my bike."
On Monday morning the MP went to his garage and found no bike.
"I then remembered where I'd left the bike but of course no sign of it when I went back," he added.
"This was my favourite present from Anthea and she went to a lot of trouble to paint it, so I'd be very grateful if someone could return it to the entrance of my office, 2 College St."
He is offering a £40 donation to the favourite charity of the person who re-unites him with his bike.
