Nissan has launched a car with glow in the dark paintwork.
The Nissan Leaf, the firm's electric car has seen a special edition revealed, which at the moment is not being widely sold.
The company says the idea is to showcase how the car is helping more and more people to convert to solar energy at home.
While glow-in-the-dark paint is already widely available, Nissan have used a special, completely organic type of coating, which includes Strontium Aluminate — a biologically inert, odorless rare-earth compound.
This coat of paint absorbs UV energy during the day, providing between 8-10 hours of glowing in the night.
Its lifespan is thought to be 25 years.
