These images show the moment a jumbo jet was being shipped across Gloucestershire today.
Pieces of the dismantled Boeing 747 were laid across the flat-beds of heavy lorries in order to transport them to Staffordshire.
The plane started its journey early this morning from Cotswold Airport in Kemble, near Cirencester.
The disused jet, which at 250ft 2ins is the longest commercial aircraft in the world, has been loaded onto the back of a convoy of trucks, which have a combined width of 22ft.
Police said that the unusual dimensions of the loads may cause traffic congestion and asked other motorists to be patient.
The inside of the fuselage will be used by interior design students, to get them used to working in unusual spaces.
