A 21 year old man died in a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A48 at Stroat shortly after 8am today.
Police, Fire and Ambulance attended the collision and the man, from South Wales, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
His Next of Kin have been informed.
Full road closures were in place at Tutshill and Aylburton while the incident was dealt with, but the road has since re-opened.
The deceased was travelling alone. The four occupants of the other vehicle were taken to hospital but are not believed to have serious injuries. The vehicles involved were a BMW 1 and a Fiat Punto.
