Police are appealing for information following the theft of a purse from a car at a Five Valleys beauty spot.
Between noon and 1.30pm on Saturday, January 31 a ladies purse was stolen from a black Fiat car parked at Woodchester Park. The purse is green leather with a butterfly design on the front. It contained cash, Tesco and Sainsbury storecards, a train ticket, a driving licence and a TSB bank card.
The car park is run by the National Trust, which owns the park, and is used by walkers and visitors to Woodchester Mansion.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area. Please call 101 quoting incident 220 of January 31.
