Chelsea are stepping up their chase for West Ham striker Enner Valencia. The Ecuador frontman joined the Hammers for a reported £12 million fee in the summer but has not always been a first choice in Sam Allardyce's team this season. He has scored only four goals but that has not put off Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho who is believed to be preparing a £21 million bid. Should a concrete offer me made, that kind of money may be difficult for West Ham to turn down.
Swansea City are the latest club to be linked with Tottenham's out-of-favour winger Aaron Lennon. The former England player, still only 27, has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane and needs a move to revive his career. A bid of £7 million would be enough to see him leave north London.
Manchester United are eyeing Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne. The full-back impressed for England at the end of last year and has played his part for a Southampton side that are pushing for a place in next season's Champions League. Southampton are currently above United in the Premier League but Clyne would find it difficult to turn down the chance of a move to Old Trafford. Louis van Gaal could get his man for £15 million although any move is not likely to take place until the summer.
Danny Ings is the latest striker to be interesting Liverpool. The Reds have been linked with West Brom hot-shot Saido Berahino for much of the transfer window but it is now thought they are turning their attention to the Burnley forward. Ings is out of contract at the end of the season and even though Daniel Sturridge is close to making a return after injury, Brendan Rodgers is keen to increase his team's firepower.
