Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information following damage to a van parked in Valley Road, Cinderford.
The driver of a silver-grey Volkswagon Transporter returned to his vehicle returned to his vehicle at 4.45pm on Tuesday, January 20 and noticed the nearside wing mirror was folded in.
Upon checking the vehicle he found substantial damage to the nearside panels and door.
The driver of the vehicle that collided with the van didn't stop or report the collision.
There was yellow paint on the van - transferred from the vehicle that collided with the van.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or saw a yellow car in the area at the time.
